Getting around

Whenever you open Cozi, you'll see the home page:

The home page brings all your Cozi information together so you can see it at a glance. There are four major areas: the Cozi Calendar, Cozi shopping lists, Cozi messages, and the Cozi Family Journal.

Clicking the preview of the calendar or the shopping list will take you to those areas. Directly from the home page, you can write and send messages, and find tools to personalize how Cozi works for you. There is also room to show off a favorite family photo.

To get back to the home page, click the word Home in the upper-left corner of any page:

Telling Cozi about your family

The first thing you'll need to do is make sure Cozi knows who's in your family:

1. Start at your Cozi home page, find the More area, and then click Settings.

2. On the page called Change Cozi settings, click the first link, General information about your household.

3. Fill in the names of your family members. You may have already given some of this information to Cozi when you signed up.

4. Enter your family's email addresses and mobile phone numbers so you can retrieve information from Cozi using your mobile phones and send information to your family members in email or as text messages.

5. Click Save to go back to the Change Cozi settings page, and then click Done to return to the home page.

Getting family information from anywhere

All the information you enter in Cozi is stored in Cozi's secure online storage area. You can access your Cozi account from any computer connected to the Internet, and all information entered on one computer will be available almost instantaneously on any other computer. You can also access your family's information from the road with a mobile phone (see Mobile access overview). Regardless of where or how your family accesses Cozi, they'll always be looking at the same information.

About accounts

With Cozi, you need only one account for your family. Everyone's information together is what makes Cozi work for you.

Your family account has one shared password and can contain multiple email addresses—one for each family member. Whenever you sign in to Cozi, you can use any email address associated with your account, but everyone always uses the same password.

Note: Please do not include the same e-mail address in more than one Cozi account. Doing so could prevent you from accessing your account. If you are including friends or extended family in your Cozi account, please let them know so they do not use the same e-mail address for their own Cozi accounts.
