What is the Cozi Family Calendar gadget for Google Desktop Sidebar?

The Cozi Family Calendar gadget is a handy addition to your Google Desktop Sidebar. It lets you view upcoming family appointments and quickly add new ones right from your desktop. To get the latest version of Google Desktop, please visit http://desktop.google.com.

You can sign in to your Cozi account by clicking Sign In in the lower-right corner of the gadget, or by clicking the down arrow at the top of the gadget, and then clicking Sign In on the menu that appears. You can sign out by clicking Sign Out on the same menu.

Viewing appointments

When the Cozi Family Calendar gadget is docked, you will see your appointments over the next few days. To see more of your calendar, you can drag the sidebar to make it bigger, or you can expand the gadget itself (either by clicking Undock from Sidebar on the gadget menu or by clicking the << button in the upper-right corner of the gadget). When the gadget is undocked, you can view other weeks by clicking the left and right arrows above the calendar or by scrolling down and clicking See more appointments.

The gadget receives appointments from Cozi every few minutes, so if you recently made changes to your calendar, it may take a few minutes for them to appear in your gadget.

Adding appointments

To add an appointment from your Cozi Family Calendar gadget, click Add an appointment at the bottom of your gadget. This will open your full Cozi calendar, where you can add a new appointment.

Accessing other Cozi features

In addition to your family calendar, the Cozi Family Calendar gadget gives you quick access to the rest of your Cozi information as well. Just click the down arrow at the top of the gadget, and then click Shopping List, Family Journal, or Cozi Settings on the menu that appears.

Troubleshooting

If you have an older version of the Cozi Collage screensaver installed, you will need to install the latest version for the links in the Cozi Family Calendar gadget to work correctly. Learn more about the Cozi Collage screensaver.
