How can I access my Cozi account?

Once you create a Cozi account, you and your family members can access it securely from any computer and from your mobile devices by logging in with the email address that's included in your account, as well as the shared password for your account. Please note that the password is shared by everyone you include in your account on the About Your Household settings page.


I just set up a Cozi account. How do I include other people in my account?

With Cozi, everyone in your family can use one account. To add family members, click Settings, then click General Information About Your Household. Once you enter every family member's name and email address in your household information, they will be able to access the account by signing in with their own email address and the shared password. You can all now begin sharing information and coordinating schedules. To receive updates, reminders, and your shopping list, you can enter mobile phone numbers for each member by clicking Enter Mobile Phone Numbers. A phone number can only be activated in one Cozi account at a time.


How many accounts do I need for my family?

With Cozi, you need only one account for your family. Everyone you include in your account will be able to securely access the same account from any computer and from their mobile devices. Your family account has one shared password and can contain multiple email addresses—one for each family member. When you sign in to Cozi, you can use any email address included in your account, along with the shared password.


How do I set up appointment reminders?

From the Calendar, select the appointment to open a dialog box. Then click Remind us to add a reminder for that appointment. A note displays in the dialog listing the people who will receive the reminder. Click 30 minutes to customize the timing for your reminders. If you set a reminder for a recurring appointment, you will automatically receive a reminder for each occurrence in the sequence. Please note that reminders will automatically be sent via text if there is a verified phone associated with the person receiving the reminder. If there is not a verified phone in the account for the person receiving the reminder, the reminder will be sent via e-mail.


How do I set up weekly agenda e-mails?

You can arrange to receive a weekly agenda e-mail from Cozi to remind you of your upcoming appointments for the week. The weekly agenda e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address every Sunday. To set up weekly agenda e-mails for you and your family members, please go to this page.


How do I change my password?

To protect your security and privacy, Cozi doesn't have access to your password and cannot change it for you. However, it's easy to change the password yourself by visiting our password reset page. Enter your email address on this page. You will then receive an email from [email protected] which includes a link to a secure page where you can enter a new password. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, please check the Junk folder and Spam filter for your email account. Please change your password soon after you get the email from Cozi, as the reset link expires after 7 days. (If the link expires, you will simply need to start the process again.) Once you enter a new password, other members of the account will be notified by email that the password has been changed. Please give them the new password so they can sign in as well. Note: your family's shared password is case-sensitive.


Which browsers can I use to access Cozi?

Cozi recommends Firefox, Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, Chrome, or Safari. Please note that Cozi does not support beta versions of browsers. Using beta versions may cause unexpected errors.


How can Cozi be free?

Cozi partners with select sponsors and advertisers to provide our services to busy families for free. We work with these companies to provide relevant offers and products to improve and simplify your busy life. Cozi also offers a subscription version, Cozi Gold, that doesn't include ads. Please note that while the Cozi service is free, your mobile phone provider may charge you the standard rate for any text messages you send from Cozi.


How safe is my data? Will you share my information?

Cozi respects your privacy. Cozi is committed to keeping all of the information about your family, including your schedule, shopping lists, to do lists, and journal entries, private and secure. We do not share personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We use encryption when transferring your information to and from our servers as well as several means to protect your information on our servers.
