What is Cozi?

Cozi is designed for busy families who are juggling work and school activities, schedules, shopping, household chores, and more. Take a tour of Cozi to see how Cozi can help your family.

Cozi includes a family calendar, shopping and to do lists, messages and reminders, a family journal, and a photo collage screensaver.

How can Cozi be free? What's the catch?

Cozi makes money by displaying relevant content to families from a select group of sponsors. This allows us to keep Cozi free for families. Please note that your mobile phone provider may charge you the standard rate for any text messages you send from Cozi.


Can I access family information in Cozi when I'm not at home?

Absolutely! Cozi provides several ways for you to do this. You can use a web browser to access password-protected family information, you can dial a toll-free number (1-888-808-COZI) to have information read to you or sent to you as a text message (SMS), or you can sign in to Cozi from your mobile phone at m.cozi.com.

Is my family's information private and secure?

Absolutely! Cozi is committed to keeping all of the information about your family, including your calendar appointments, shopping lists, and journal entries, private and secure.


I live outside the United States. Can I use Cozi?

You can use Cozi anywhere in the world, with the following known issues:

  • With non-English-language editions of Windows, you will not be able to type free-form appointments into the calendar, and if English is not the main language, highlighting in the mini-calendar does not highlight the proper selection. There may be other problems with the calendar.
  • Our text messaging support is currently offered only in the United States. However, you may be able to receive text help in Canada depending on your mobile operator. Contact Cozi Customer Support to find out if your phone number has email mapping. For a summary of mobile phone support, see Mobile access.

Can I use Cozi on my Macintosh computer?

Yes. Cozi can be accessed via popular web browsers on either Windows or the Macintosh. Simply visit https://cozicentral.cozi.com/logon/logon.aspx and sign in using the same email address and password that you used to create your Cozi account.


I forgot my password. How do I set another one?

Please visit our password reset page.


How do I know if I'm using the latest version of Cozi?

Look at the Cozi logo at the bottom of your Cozi family home page (or any page in Cozi). If it says "Cozi 2.0," you are using the latest version of Cozi!

If you signed up for Cozi before June 2008, you may be using the PC version. If you are using the PC version or you have downloaded the Cozi Collage or Outlook Toolbar, click here to learn how to check for the most current version.


How do I change the name/email address/phone number that's set up in my account?

From your Cozi home page, find the More area, click Settings, and then click General information about your household. Enter or change information as you like. Click Save, and then click Done to return to the home page. You're all set!

Note: Please do not include the same e-mail address in more than one Cozi account. Doing so could prevent you from accessing your account. If you are including friends or extended family in your Cozi account, please let them know so they do not use the same e-mail address for their own Cozi accounts.


Does Cozi synchronize with Microsoft Outlook?

Yes. Download the Cozi Outlook Toolbar to sync your Cozi calendar with your Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007 calendar. The Outlook Toolbar is a great way to make sure you never miss a family event and also to eliminate double calendar entries! Learn more about the Cozi Outlook Toolbar.
