For years you’ve asked your family to be flexible about your work. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
When you work at Cozi, you’re part of a team that helps families communicate, stay organized, and enjoy what life has to offer. Since helping families is at the core of who we are, we put work-life balance at the center of what we do. Whether you’re a mom coming back into the workforce, a developer who enjoys going for a run along Elliot Bay at lunch, or a computer science student looking for real-world experience to balance course work, you’ll find our flexible work environment suited to your lifestyle. To us, it’s a no-brainer. We’ve simply found that happy employees create stellar software.

- What brought you to Cozi?
I came to work at Cozi because it is a small company full of smart people committed to building great software that makes day-to-day life better for families. I like families. I’ve got one myself.
—Joanna, Developer
As a father of three, I joined Cozi because of the tremendous opportunity to impact the lives of families around the world and for the opportunity to work with a fantastic group of people. The energy, personalities, and opportunity make it a fun place to be every day.
—Tim, VP of Business Development
- What do you enjoy most about working at Cozi?
My favorite thing about working here is the opportunity to work with really smart, caring people who love what they are doing. It’s fun to go to work everyday.
—Mira, Software Tester
- How is Cozi’s work-life balance culture treating you?
I have an extra busy schedule outside of work as both my wife and I are raising 3 young children and both of us are very active in community volunteer work. My wife is involved with the PTSA, school functions and multiple fund raising efforts for both the schools and community. I am a Cub Scout leader and help run a non-profit mountain biking organization that focuses on building trails and bikes parks and providing riding and training opportunities for both kids and adults.
Being able to work from home one day a week is a huge benefit as I’m able to spend more time within our community. It allows me to have lunch with my kids at school or go to lunch with my wife and other community leaders. It’s also a huge benefit because we live so far from down town (Snoqualmie) — so it’s nice to not have to be on the road that 5th day of the week clogging up the roads and instead being at the home office, plugged in and focusing on the task at hand.
—Dan, Creative Director
It’s perfect for me. I work flexible, part-time hours, which allows me to spend quality time with my family and take care of Cozi users. I can’t think of a more efficient model!
