Robbie Cape, President and Co-Founder
Robbie brings 20 years of experience designing software, building teams and managing software businesses. Eight years ago, he founded Cozi and has been its CEO ever since. The first twelve years of Robbie's career were spent at Microsoft, where most of his experience was in the roles of program manager, product unit manager and general manager of the Microsoft Money business. Robbie ushered the Money business to profitability with revenues of more than $65 million and put Microsoft Money on the map as a formidable competitor to Intuit's Quicken. Robbie has a deep love for building businesses, products, and teams that produce high-quality, simple software consistently and on time. Robbie holds a B.A. in Science and Engineering from Princeton University. He lives in the suburbs of Seattle with his wife, Bonnie, and their three children, Benjamin, Noah, and Dalia.
Holly Mesrobian, Chief Technology Officer
Holly brings nearly 20 years of experience in technology leadership roles from a variety of technology organizations. The last 13 years were spent at RealNetworks. In her most recent experience at RealNetworks, Holly was General Manager of Platform Engineering, with responsibility for building all platform services which back RealNetworks' direct to consumer and ASP businesses. Holly has engineering leadership experience building both software products and services and thrives in running engineering organizations responsible for maintaining highly available and scalable systems. Holly holds two technical masters degrees which include an MS in Software Engineering from Seattle University, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Washington. She lives in Seattle with her husband, Edmond, and their three children, Willow, Laurel, and Hovaness.
Will Friedman, Chief Product Officer
Will bridges business and technical disciplines. As one of Cozi's earliest employees, he has contributed since 2006 in a variety of executive, engineering and product management roles. Prior to Cozi, Will spent five years leading European business development for two mobile software startup companies, securing contracts with major mobile operators in the US and Europe. He also worked at Microsoft in a variety of roles. He was the program manager who led the creation of Microsoft's first online mapping service, which has since evolved into Bing Maps. He was Technical Evangelist for Internet Explorer 5, during which time he worked with the Web's leading portals to distribute customized versions of IE, and Business Development Manager for Windows Media, working with nascent Content Distribution Networks to distribute video in the early days of home broadband availability. A fluent French speaker, he has a BSE, Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, and lives in Seattle with his wife and daughter.
Tim Tiscornia, Chief Operating Officer
Tim brings a unique blend of 16 years of marketing and finance experience with a focus on the technology field for the last 12 years. He most recently joined from Microsoft where, as a Group Product Manager, he led the marketing launch to partners of Windows Vista. Prior to Microsoft he was the Vice President of Marketing at a Silicon Valley start-up, Mainstreet Networks, where he drove the product management, business development, and customer support teams. At Intel Corporation he drove operational finance and business analysis, most recently in Intel Architecture Labs assessing new technologies and business opportunities. Tim is a Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of the University of Washington MBA program with a marketing and finance emphasis and holds a bachelor of science degree with a major in accounting from Santa Clara University. Tim and his wife, Jane, have three daughters.
Samantha Bergin, VP of Marketing
Samantha brings 15 years of marketing experience with a focus on customer acquisition and engagement, product marketing and launches, consumer insights, conversion optimization, and marketing analytics. Prior to Cozi, Sam worked on the consumer electronics business at Amazon.com helping third-party merchants maximize web presence and sales. Prior to Amazon, Sam worked in product marketing at Microsoft on numerous product launches including Office XP and Windows XP and managed mid-market direct marketing campaigns, lead-generation efforts and vertical market research and messaging. Prior to Microsoft, Sam was an international product manager at Visio Corporation responsible for marketing across the full product lifecycle. Sam holds a BA in Business from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Marketing from Wake Forest University. Sam is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She and her husband, Chris, live in the exurbs of Seattle on a small horse farm.
