Happy summer! Cozi and Country Time Lemonade got together to bring you a list of ideas for your own Fourth of July party.
Whether it's a big neighborhood shindig or a small get-together with your family, here are a few fun ideas for party food, decorations and activities to celebrate the holiday:
Fourth of July Party CheckList
- DECORATIONS
- Decorate with red, white and blue balloons, streamers, napkins and lights
- Roll butcher paper out on the table and scatter red, white, and blue crayons for the kids to color with while eating
- Fill vases with small American flags
- ACTIVITIES
- Plan a bike parade for the kids: stock streamers, flags, stickers and tape for decorating and take a spin around the block
- Do a maypole dance: use streamers to decorate your flagpole or column on your house
- Research local parades and fireworks displays to visit after the party
- FOOD AND DRINK
- Make a fresh fruit flag: arrange skewers of alternating strawberries and bananas (for stripes) and top a few of the skewers with blueberries (for stars)
- Stock plenty of ice for food and drinks
- From Country Time Lemonade: serve thirst quenching drinks to keep the guests cool
