Your mobile phone operator will charge you at your standard rate for text messages that you send.

Cozi offers mobile phone support in the United States, and we support the following carriers:

  • Alltel
  • Boost
  • Cellular One
  • AT&T
  • Sprint/Nextel
  • T-Mobile
  • U.S. Cellular
  • Verizon

If you are outside of the United States, you may be able to receive some coverage. See the table below for details.

Getting started with mobile access

All the information you enter into Cozi is stored in Cozi’s secure online storage area. This means you that you have many ways of accessing your family information — from your PCs at home, from any computer with Internet access, and from your mobile phone.

To use the mobile phone features in Cozi:

  1. Start at your Cozi Home page, find the More area, and then click Settings.
  2. Click General information about your household.
  3. Enter the mobile phone number for any family member who will want to use Cozi on his or her phone.
  4. Click Save, and then click Done to return to the Home page.

When you add a mobile phone number, Cozi sends a verification message to that phone. The recipient must reply to this message with “OK” to activate the phone and start receiving messages sent from your Cozi account.

Sending information to your phone from your computer

You can send a daily calendar or shopping list directly to any family member’s mobile phone:

  1. At the bottom of Cozi Calendar or Cozi Shopping Lists, click Send to Phone.
  2. Click the name of the family member who should receive the information. (Your mobile phone service provider may charge you for text messages.)
Retrieving information when away from home

You can use your mobile phone to retrieve your information in two ways: either by dialing Cozi’s phone number and using the voice menus, or by dialing our short code number and sending us a text request.

When you dial our phone number, you have the option of hearing your information read to you or having it sent to you as a text message. When you dial our short code number, your information will be sent back as a text message. Choose whichever way is most convenient for you.

To use our phone number:

  1. Call 1-888-808-COZI (1-888-808-2694) from your mobile phone to be connected to Cozi.
  2. Use the voice menus to find the appointments or shopping lists you want.
  3. Have the information read to you over the phone, or sent to your phone as a text message. (Your mobile phone service provider may charge you for text messages.)

NOTE: You can also reach us using a local number, 1-703-637-6334.

To use our short code number:

  1. Send messages to 22694 (BCOZI) to reach Cozi.
  2. Text the following words, according to the information you would like to receive:
“Calendar” for all of today’s appointments
“Shopping” for the first shopping list in your Cozi account
“Help” for information about the Cozi short code
“Stop” to stop receiving all text messages from Cozi. To start receiving text messages again, contact Cozi support.

Note that capitalization doesn’t matter in the words you text. And, you should be aware that your mobile phone service provider will charge you for messages at your standard rate.

Opting out of Cozi text messages

To stop receiving SMS messages from Cozi, send a message with the word “STOP” to 22694 (BCOZI).
