Getting started with Web access

Cozi allows you to access your family’s information from virtually any computer, even if that computer doesn’t have the Cozi downloadable program installed. This means that you can access your Cozi account from your work computer, an Internet cafe, an Apple Macintosh computer, a computer running older versions of Windows, etc.

Simply visit https://cozicentral.cozi.com and sign in using the same email address and password you use to sign in to Cozi at home. If you don’t remember your password, visit our password reset page.

With Cozi Web access, you can view and change your calendar and shopping lists and use Cozi Messages to reach family members individually.

To add or change appointments, sign in and click anywhere on the calendar preview to reach your Cozi Calendar page.

The family calendar shows one week’s appointments at a time. You can navigate the family calendar by clicking the Prev. Week and Next Week links, or by clicking a date in the mini-calendar at the bottom-left of the screen. If the Next Week link isn’t visible, scroll the calendar to the end of the current week to see it. You can also select a specific family member’s calendar by clicking the tabs at the top.

You can access Cozi using Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or later, or Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. Other browsers may work, although we have not fully tested them.

The downloadable version of Cozi for your PC includes the following features that are not available for Cozi Web access at this time:

• An innovative photo screen saver
• Offline access to your data
• Multiple calendar views (day/week/month), and the ability to print these views
• Additional options for sending shopping lists and other information to your mobile phone
• A list of items you have recently added to your shopping lists

However, the downloadable Cozi program has the following requirements:

• Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)
• Broadband Internet access
• Full administrative access to your computer

If your PC meets all of the above requirements, we recommend installing the downloadable version of Cozi. However, the Web access version is an excellent solution for computers that don’t meet these requirements, or for accessing your information when you are away from your computer.
