Cozi Calendar Now Syncs with Microsoft ® Outlook
Free Software Service Enables Busy Families to Integrate Their Work Calendar in Outlook with Their Shared Family Calendar

SEATTLE — April 9, 2007 – Cozi trade (http://www.cozi.com), the company that brought you Cozi, has today announced that the Cozi Calendar now syncs with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and 2007. The Cozi Outlook Toolbar was developed in direct response to family feedback and requests to integrate their work calendar in Outlook with their shared family calendar so that they could more easily coordinate their work and family lives.

With over 100,000 registered users since launching six months ago, Cozi is a free family software service that helps families plan, schedule, manage and enjoy their ever-busier lives via a shared calendar, shopping and to do lists, quick messages and a dynamic photo collage with reminders of upcoming events.

By downloading the new Cozi Outlook Toolbar, Cozi's Calendar will automatically sync Cozi with Outlook so that you can now see specific work appointments on your Cozi family calendar, as well as family appointments on your Outlook work calendar. By default, the Cozi Outlook Toolbar automatically synchronizes only those Outlook appointments that fall outside the user's normal working hours. This way, the family gets advance warning of a late meeting or overnight business trip, but isn't distracted by things that happen 9 to 5. However, if a family member does decide they want to sync everything between Outlook and Cozi, they have that option. The relevant family appointments also show up in Outlook, so a working parent won't miss a parent-teacher conference or doctor's visit that happens to fall during the work day.

"Since launching Cozi, the #1 request that we've heard from families was the need to integrate their Cozi Calendar with Outlook, so that they could more easily juggle the balance between work and family life without cluttering their family calendar with every business appointment," said Robbie Cape, CEO and Co-Founder of Cozi. "We're especially proud to rush to the rescue with an innovative approach that helps ensure the right stuff ends up on your family calendar and vice versa."

Cozi just works. It looks clean, organized and uncluttered, regardless of hectic schedules," stated Katherine Boehret, tech writer, The Wall Street Journal.

"Cozi is more than efficient and smart. For parents it's like having a full-time personal assistant to organize and monitor your family's comings and goings. It cleverly pulls together the 'loose ends' and allows you to keep track of yourself – not an easy feat for busy moms – and your children effortlessly. And, you don't have to be particularly tech savvy to use it." – Susan Newman, Ph.D., author of Little Things Long Remembered: Making Your Children Feel Special Every Day and The Book of NO: 250 Ways to Say It–and Mean It and Stop People-Pleasing Forever.
