Technology Pioneer Jeremy Jaech Joins Cozi Board of Directors
Jaech Brings Core Expertise to Leading Family Organizational Software Company
SEATTLE — December 12, 2007 – Cozi (http://www.cozi.com), an innovator in software that helps families manage, coordinate and enjoy their ever-busier lives, today announced it has named Jeremy Jaech to its board of directors as chairman. Jaech brings to Cozi more than 20 years of industry leading technology experience and innovation from several ground-breaking software organizations. In his position on the Board, Jaech will play an integral role in helping Cozi's executive team manage the company's growth and product strategy.

Jaech joins an esteemed and seasoned Board of Directors for Cozi including Mari Baker, David Cape, Ron Weinstein and Robbie Cape, who collectively have more than 70 years of entrepreneurial and technology experience.

Currently, Jaech serves as president and CEO of Trumba Corp, a maker of web-hosted event calendar software for publishing online, interactive calendars of events. Previously, Jaech served as co-founder of Visio Corporation, the developer of the first mass-market business drawing and diagramming software, and served as its president, CEO and Chairman of the Board from 1990 until its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation in 2000. Post acquisition, Jaech served as vice president of the Business Tools Division at Microsoft until June 2000. Prior to founding Visio Corporation, he co-founded Aldus Corporation, the first company to create design software for graphics arts professionals using personal computers and laser printers. At Aldus, Jaech was the technical leader for the original development of PageMaker and went on to serve as vice president of engineering, managing Aldus' product development. Aldus was acquired by Adobe in 1994. Jaech serves on the Board of Directors of Seattle-based RealNetworks, Inc., MindJet Corporation, a privately funded company located in San Francisco, California and of Alibre Inc., a privately funded company located in Richardson, Texas.
Jaech holds a BA in mathematics and an MS in computer science from the University of Washington.
