Seattle – January 26, 2011 – Cozi (www.cozi.com), the No. 1 online and mobile family calendar and organization service, today announced that it has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Catherine Captain as Chief Marketing Officer and Holly Mesrobian as Chief Technology Officer. Together, Captain and Mesrobian bring more than 30 years of management experience to the Cozi team. The new executives will help drive the company’s growth in the online family organization space.

“Cozi is experiencing record growth and we are thrilled to bring in seasoned executives to help chart our course,” said Robbie Cape, Co-Founder and CEO of Cozi. “In addition to their deep knowledge in Marketing and Technology, Catherine and Holly are working moms juggling career and family who believe in our company vision to manage busy family life. Their leadership will be essential to take Cozi to the next level of success.”

Captain brings more than 15 years of consumer-centric marketing experience to her new role as Chief Marketing Officer at Cozi. Most recently, she was General Manager of TODAYshow.com and Vice President of Marketing at MSNBC.com, where she led brand marketing, product strategy, consumer research and media relations. She also spent nearly a decade at USA Today in marketing research and strategic planning. Captain received an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a B.A. in English and Journalism from the University of Iowa.

“I’ve dedicated much of my career to understanding the connection between consumers and brands and I recognize something truly special in Cozi,” said Catherine Captain, Chief Marketing Officer for Cozi. “Cozi is fanatically valued by its users and its appeal and relevance expands as the world around us gets noisier. I want to raise awareness so that Cozi can benefit even more families.”

Before joining Cozi, Mesrobian spent 13 years at RealNetworks where most recently she was General Manager of Platform Development, responsible for building all platform services that supported its direct-to-consumer and ASP businesses. As Chief Technology Officer of Cozi, Mesrobian will oversee all technical aspects of the company. Mesrobian holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Software Engineering from Seattle University.

“Cozi continues to raise the bar with its creative and innovative technology,” said Holly Mesrobian, Chief Technology Officer of Cozi. “Recently, Cozi added several new product features and functionality—school/sports/activity scheduling, automatic weekly agenda e-mails and enhanced mobile apps—all aimed at enriching the user experience. As a busy mother of two children, I’m delighted to be part of a team focused on improving busy family life.”
