Check for the most current version

Here at Cozi, we work to improve the Cozi services and make them easier to use, whether by adding features that families request, or by fixing problems that families report. For these reasons, it's always best to run the latest version, whether you are using Cozi on your computer, the Cozi iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad app, the Cozi Android app, the Cozi BlackBerry app, the Cozi Outlook Toolbar, or the Cozi Collage.

Below, you'll find information on how to determine if you have the latest version.

Cozi on your computer

Good news! With Cozi, you don't need to check for version numbers! The most up-to-date features are always at your fingertips.

Cozi iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad app

Updates available for the Cozi iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad app will be indicated on your device or in iTunes when you sync, and are free. You can also compare the version number of Cozi available in the App Store or iTunes to the version number of Cozi on your device. To see the version number of Cozi on your device, go to the Settings page in Cozi on your device. If you do not have the latest version, you can download it for free.

Cozi Android app

If you have configured the Android Market (or Android app store of your choice) to automatically download the latest version of an app, you’ll always have the latest version of Cozi. Otherwise, your device should notify you that an update is available. You can also compare the version number of Cozi available in the Android Market (or Android app store of your choice) to the version number of Cozi on your device. To see the version number of Cozi on your device, go to the Settings page in Cozi on your Android device. If you do not have the latest version, you can download it for free.

Cozi BlackBerry app

Your BlackBerry should notify you if an update is available. You can also compare the version number of Cozi available in the BlackBerry App World to the version number displayed on the Home screen in Cozi on your BlackBerry device. If you do not have the latest version, you can download it for free.

Cozi Collage screensaver / Cozi Express

Cozi automatically updates the Cozi Collage screensaver / Cozi Express, but there are a few instances in which this might not happen. Follow the instructions below to check your current version and to get the latest version.

Check your current version
1. Start Cozi Express.
2. Click the Cozi icon in the upper-left corner of the window.
3. Click Check for updates on the menu that appears.
4. Cozi will check for a new version; you may continue to use Cozi Express while it’s checking.
5. Upon completion of the check, a dialog box will either tell you that you are up to date or give you the option to install the latest version.

Get the latest version

Cozi checks for updates once per day and automatically updates itself if a new version is available.

If your firewall program asks whether to grant permission to Cozi, you should always say yes; otherwise, you may not be able to receive updates and Cozi may not function properly.
If Cozi does not upgrade automatically for any reason, you can always install the latest version here.

Cozi Outlook Toolbar (Beta)

Follow the instructions below to check your current version and to get the latest version.

Check your current version
1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. In the upper-right corner of the Cozi toolbar, you will see Beta and a version number. This number should be the same number as the latest version mentioned here.
