Color-coding your appointments in Outlook

Appointments that are synced between Cozi and Microsoft Office Outlook have the "Family" category automatically assigned to them. By default, the "Family" category does not have any color assigned to it.

To assign a specific color to the "Family" category:

1. Right-click any appointment that has the "Family" category, point to Categorize, and then click All Categories. You will see the following dialog box.

NOTE: Don't select the "Family" category that's in the list, because you will not be able to modify it.

2. Select one of the unassigned colors (for example, Purple Category), click the Rename button, and then type "Family".

(If there are no unassigned colors, click the New button, type "Family", and then select a color.)

All your "Family" appointments will now appear in the color you selected.
