How do I "upgrade" to Cozi 2.0?

If you already use the web version of Cozi, you will automatically get Cozi 2.0. If you use the PC version of Cozi, you can sign in to Cozi 2.0 from any computer with Internet access (using Internet Explorer 7 or higher, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari); to quickly access Cozi from your desktop (without opening an Internet browser), download the new Cozi Collage screensaver with Cozi Express.

 

Will I have to create a new account or re-enter data to use Cozi 2.0?

No. Your current Cozi account, information, and password is exactly the same in Cozi 2.0. Sign in to your account from any computer with Internet access, using Internet Explorer 7 or higher, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. And if you want, you can access Cozi 2.0 right from your desktop after downloading the new Cozi Collage screensaver with Cozi Express.

 

Why are Cozi 2.0 improvements being made on the web version and not on the version I downloaded to my PC?

We've heard from families that you want access to your information from home, work, or wherever you might be. With Cozi 2.0 you'll have quick and simple web access to your family account, and you'll always get the same great Cozi experience from wherever you sign in, with no downloads required. In addition, combining the best of the PC version with the web version into one Cozi experience enables us to deliver new features that families have been asking for more quickly—and they will just work, with no upgrades or downloads required.

 

How will I know if I am using the new Cozi 2.0 version?

Look at the Cozi logo at the bottom of your Cozi family home page (or any page in Cozi). If it says "Cozi 2.0," you are using Cozi 2.0!

Will the version I downloaded to my PC still be supported?

Although the original PC version of Cozi will eventually be phased out, we will not require upgrades or stop supporting the PC version until Cozi 2.0 offers everything that your original PC download offers. We will continue to add new features to Cozi 2.0, so you might want to check it out periodically. We will keep you informed every step of the way!

 

Will Cozi 2.0 work with my Mac?

Yes. The overall experience in Cozi 2.0 has significantly improved for Mac users, offering features such as new calendar views, updated printing features, and the Cozi Family Journal. We currently optimize Cozi for Internet Explorer 7 or higher, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

 

Can Cozi 2.0 be used in an offline state?

Absolutely! Cozi provides several ways for you to do this. You can use a web browser to access password-protected family information, you can dial a toll-free number (1-888-808-COZI) to have information read to you or sent to you as a text message (SMS), or you can sign in to Cozi from your mobile phone at m.cozi.com.
