Cozi Customer Service Representative—Contract

Cozi Customer Service Representative—Contract

Cozi seeks an experienced part-time customer support representative to assist users with our family-oriented Web site. You will provide email-based customer support to users through an easy-to-learn Internet-based support tool. Some hands-on training will be provided at our downtown Seattle-based offices. While the position is a work-from-home position, you will come to Cozi's offices for training and from time to time (but not more than monthly) to participate in company-wide meetings. This position will require 30-40 hours/week (flexible hours, with approximately 5-10 hours on the weekends, and the remainder during the weekdays). This position is available immediately. Due to the volume of interest in this position, only candidates with more than one year of email-based or phone-based customer support should apply; other candidates will not receive a response. Compensation is $15/hr.

Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience providing email-based or phone-based customer support, ideally for a technology company; retail experience, general office work, sales, other customer-facing positions, etc. does not qualify
  • Available 30-40 hours per week
  • Fast typing ability, e.g., a minimum of 55 wpm
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Comfort with software products
  • Willingness and ability to solve customer problems
  • Your own modern computer and monitor with a broadband Internet connection
  • Based in the Seattle area
