Vice President of Marketing
Cozi seeks a data-driven marketing superstar who will conceive, design, and execute effective digital marketing activities to drive customer acquisition and premium conversion. This is a full-time Vice President of Marketing position, the leader of Cozi's marketing team. The individual will report to Cozi's CEO.
This position is for the highly motivated, tenacious, and analytical individual who has extensive acquisition, subscription, digital, and mobile experience. You will be directly responsible for expanding the brand awareness of Cozi, acquiring qualified families, converting a high percentage of those families to a premium offering, and representing the marketing team on the Cozi executive team. If your idea of marketing is spending large dollars executing creative marketing programs and promotions, or managing expensive agency relationships, this is not the job for you. Cozi is looking for you to maximize the performance of the mobile marketplace distribution channel while driving conversion of "free" families to our paid subscription. With a strong conversion funnel in place, you will lead the identify-test-iterate cycle for highly efficient paid acquisition tactics, also a metrics based process.
Proven and successful experience marketing consumer web services is a requirement. The successful candidate must demonstrate successful development and use of social media, premium up-sell marketing, analytics, mobile marketing, social media, SEO, and content distribution to drive customer acquisition and premium conversion for consumer web services. A strong marketing foundation, and deep data driven marketing skills are essential. The individual will need to be as comfortable and effective at developing strategies and implementing tactics as s/he is overseeing creative. Experience marketing to families -- and specifically to moms -- is highly valued.
This individual will:
- Bring a focus of metrics and analytics based marketing to Cozi's product and marketing teams.
- Lead new family acquisition efforts with creative marketing tactics to drive continued success in the growth of our registration base, primarily on the mobile platform.
- Lead all marketing efforts to existing Cozi families to maximize the conversion to Cozi's Gold, premium, offering.
- As Gold conversion accelerates, begin testing paid acquisition tactics, driving to a highly profitable acquisition model.
